How to Activate your TATA Docomo Mobile to access 3g Signal?
It is very easy to setup your mobile (now that Tata Docomo 3G signal is up and running, specially here in Karnataka).
In your Mobile (Nokia) Go to Menu -> Settings – > Phone -> Network Settings.
In your Network settings choose Network Mode as UMTS. (Not GSM)
You are ready to Go with New TATA Docomo 3G Life…
This has worked for me, as I was able to configure my Nokia N79 to Receive 3G Signal, also Docomo has granted me 3g Access.

I think it has launched only in @ shirdi in maharashtra.

Pls provide me the 3G settings for HTC Wildfire. I am using the APN TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET with following settings:
MMS Protocol WAP2.0
MCC 405
MNC 034
Go to Settings -> Wireless & Mobile networks -> Touch on Mobile Networks.
Click on Access Point Names:
If you already have settings click on TATA DOCOMO INTERNET.
If not you can send SMS “INTERNET” to 52270 and save them default settings.
If you are not getting Settings for some reason.
Follow the steps:
in the Settings page click menu > NEW APN.
Enter the details as below:
Name : TATA DOCOMO INTERNET
APN: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET

hi! i hv Samsung SGH i450 handset. I activated Docomo 3G on my mobile, it shows the 3G icon on Range. But it didn’t affecting on Internet Speed. it’s like a GPRS speed.
Do you have a 2G internet plan running? if yes then you will get only 2g speed, if you want 3G speed purchase a 3G plan, it will override 2g plan.
I have use this setting for HTC wildfire post on “November 25, 2010 at 3:38 pm” by admin but I think 1 error in that, instead of 034 (MNC) it should be 043.
after setting 034, the APN setting doesn’t appeared.
Well The settings are not getting saved when you create a NEW APN with MNC: 40 and MCC 404
I m using HTC wildfire phone in that I m nor getting umts option. And only some time I m getting 3g signal. The speed is like gprs. Please let me know how to get 3g speed.
This is not because of you Phone, it is problem with Network.
Ask you Network Operator to Improve the Network in your area.
