The 3D enabled Acer uses a three pillar system that relies upon a 3D film coating on the display, polarising glasses and software to display videos, games and photos in 3D.

The software can also convert any 2D video to give a 3D effect in real time.

With a 15.6 inch LED widescreen display, the notebook is powered by a 2.1Ghz dual core Intel Processor, and offers up-to 4GB DDR2 RAM, a built-in ATI 4570 graphics processor and 500GB hard drive. The new laptop is equipped with a DVD writer, 1.3 megapixel incorporated camera and Gigabit LAN, in addition to 3G options, memory card reader and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The laptop, which is 3D enabled, uses a “three pillar system”, which completely relies on a “3D film coating on the display, polarising glasses and software to display videos, games and photos in 3D”.

The device will retail for Rs 43,500.

    Almost a month back I read on engadget that Acer has launched their 3D laptop. Reviews about this laptop were awesome.. Would like to know when they will be available in India?
