HP Launches Ultra-slim Desktop PC

Hewlett Packard (HP) India on Friday launched ‘Compaq dc7800′, an ultra-slim desktop pc, which provides power flexibility to meet the needs of most businesses.

“The new energy-efficient business desktop PC is the industry’s first to feature a solid-state hard drive(SSD) that offers a improved reliability,”
HP India country Manager (Business Desktop PCs, perspnal system group) Arun Rao Said here.

Priced at Rs. 40,000 onwards the ‘Compaq dc7800′ PC’s solid-state hard drive provides many performance and durability improvements.
To be available from May 1st, the new PC was one of the industry’s smallest and enterprise-ready desktops – 46 percent smaller than previous models – and lowest power consuming, 85% efficient power supply.

eSys Information Technologies has introduced a competitively priced PC in the Indian market. The company apparently boasts of its “high-configuration”. The new PC features AMD Athlon 3800 processor, 512MB DDR1 RAM, 160GB HDD, Combo Drive and a 17-inch CRT Monitor.

The new desktop is targeted at home users and the SOHO. eSys claims that its new PC is expected to deliver a powerful user experience at a low price.
