Samsung Galaxy S2 leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is set to be officially announced at the Mobile World Congress in February. Details of the new smartphone have been leaked before hand, and this definitely makes it a worthy contender for your pennies. It will sport a 4.3" Super AMOLED display, Android 2.3, dual core processor, NFC chip for over the air transactions. With the success of the Galaxy S, this successor has Android fans all over the world salivating.

Even better, it comes served with a dish of rumored specs to fuel your daydreams:

  • 4.3-inch SAMOLED2 display at 1280×720 and 340 dpi

  • 2 GHz CPU

  • 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM, 32 GB storage with microSD slot for cards up to 32 GB

  • 8 MP camera with full HD video recording

  • Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, A-GPS

  • Accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and all the other Android standards

  • Running Android 3.0

Nothing is set in stone, so take this with a grain of salt. I can sit around all day firing off specs to satisfy what I believe would be my perfect gadget.

The Galaxy S2 is supposed to see a Q1 2011 release, which is good timing given that it’s anywhere between 6-8 months since the original release. And if Samsung intends to keep up with the quickly rising competition, that time frame would be perfect.
